The Water Loop: the technical water cycle in the company

During its use in production, water comes into contact with materials of different types and sizes (marble, granite, agglomerates) and with different processes, generating wastewater with varying volumes and concentrations of residues. This waste water is conveyed through well-sized drainage channels, which facilitate its flow and collection in a storage tank, where the cleaning phase begins.

The critical issues of non-automated systems
During the cleaning phase, there are different approaches to managing dirty water and sludge. Some companies still rely on systems with settling tanks or the use of big bags, while others use manual filter presses. In all these cases, if the system is not automated, production can be affected by slowdowns or actual operational stoppages.
Emptying tanks or manually handling big bags are often inconvenient, potentially dangerous, and, in some contexts, undignified tasks for those who perform them. Furthermore, improper management of these steps can lead to sludge spills on the ground, with risks of environmental contamination.

This approach not only optimizes internal organization, but also significantly reduces disposal costs and ensures greater production continuity.

Automatic clarification and return to the line
In our clarification plants, water is separated from suspended solids thanks to the combined action of chemicals (coagulants and flocculants) and automated mechanical technologies. The residual sludge is dehydrated and made easy to manage, while the clarified water returns to the production cycle, ready for reuse.
Everything happens continuously and automatically, without accumulation, stagnation, or interruptions. This is the Water Loop: a closed, intelligent, and configurable circuit that allows the same water to be reused several times, drastically reducing consumption from water sources and ensuring consistent performance in processing.
The advantages are tangible: up to 30% reduction in water consumption, up to 50% savings on sludge disposal costs, longer tool life, and fewer man-hours dedicated to manual waste management.
